Best cornhole app for your game

For a cornhole tournament happening this weekend, start with Scoreholio. For a backyard game, start by checking how quickly you can enter a round and fix a mistake. Those are different jobs.

Tournament nights

Scoreholio’s cornhole tools cover pairings, board assignments, and live tournament scores. It belongs on your shortlist when several games need to run at once.

Before moving your event, build a small bracket with the format you actually use. Add a late team, correct a result, and see what happens to the next board assignment. Ask a second person to run it from your notes. The app has to work for the volunteer who takes over while you play.

Backyard scores and player stats

We make BagTrax. You can open the app to keep score. The cornhole app page describes its cancellation scoring and player stats.

For any scorer you can use now, try this round: your side throws seven, theirs throws four. The game score should increase by three. If it records PPR, your raw round still counts as seven. An app that stores only the net three cannot recover that raw total later.

Then undo the round and enter it again. You should be able to tell whose throw is next without restarting the game.

Pick for the person holding the phone

A single phone between two players needs readable scores and quick corrections. A league director needs assignments, standings, and a way to recover from an incorrect result. Give those jobs separate trials.

Use your own phone outdoors, with the screen brightness you normally use. Count the taps needed for a round, check whether players need accounts, and verify what survives a lost connection. Keep the app that makes your usual game easier to run.
