Pickleheads is worth checking for finding courts and games. DUPR serves players looking for a rating. Swish belongs on an organizer’s shortlist. Decide which of those jobs you need before downloading another pickleball app.

Finding games and recording results

Pickleheads lists courts and helps organize playing sessions. Check your area before deciding it will solve your weekly game: a court listing and an active local group are separate things.

DUPR is a pickleball rating system. If ratings are your reason for choosing an app, read its match-submission requirements before the event. Tell players in advance whether results will be submitted.

Organizing a group

Swish documents rotating-partner round robins, fixed-partner play, and league formats. Try your actual roster size, including an odd number and a player who leaves early. Those cases tell you more than a full demo roster does.

For a single game, test the scoring sequence. Traditional doubles starts at 0–0–2; losing that opening service rally gives the opponents the serve. A scorer built around a generic plus button may leave you tracking the server yourself.

Our pickleball scorer covers traditional side-out singles and doubles. It doesn’t support rally scoring, court booking, or match series. Choose an available organizer or rating tool when that is what your group needs today.
